Here is Melmo's evil landlady (perhaps an aunt?) offering to take in Melmo & her brothers.

Err, actually Boon's employee was the one who ran over & killed Melmo's mama; he offers to compensate this loss by taking in the kids.

Catching melmo about to open this door, Boon tells her it is off limits to her.

Smitten by curiosity, Melmo cannot sleep.

This will stifle her curiosity!

Exploring the basement, she finds a crate & opens it.

"Hmm, why a tunnel to the shore?"

Does she understand that they are smugglers?

Finding evidence, Melmo prepares to escape with it.

I certainly enjoy them, though some may be offended by the nudity, though it is all innocent.

That is a fair question, Ellen Deeze. Melmo is about 10, but by taking the 'candy' she can become an infant, a granny, a teenager, or even a different species. Here, she is about to become a fish, so she has stowed her clothing and will take it with her. Also, she usually goes through a phase which turns her into an egg before changing her from adult to child, or from human to other species.

Moreover, this entire series in intended to teach kids about reproduction, except the actual mating. There is nudity throughout it.

I have three volumes of Melmo comics, 1. the original by Tezuka, & 2 & 3, two newly drawn volumes by whom I do not know. None of these have the same purpose as the anime, though.
