Does this mean the Dark Horse manga is incomplete?

The Dark Horse Astro Boy manga which were reprinted in English from a Japanese manga series authorized by Dr. Tezuka was never complete as It did not have two of the manga stories from the Mighty Atom Club magazine series. The two were: "Jangaru Makyo" which was adapted into the anime episode, "Jungle Mystery" (English dub) and the manga story that first featured Astro Boy's baby brother, Ti-Tan(ium). (Known as Chitan for does who do not know that in Japanese chi is the equivalent pronunciation of ti.)
(These two stories were never reprinted as far as it is known.)
But yes the manga stories described in this thread were never translated into English or included in any series guide about original Astro Boy manga.--Astrobuddy

Sasaki & Miyamoto are friends and want to become animators. There are several 1965 issues that cover the story. I have an HB complete with slipcase of the manga.

Oh, as for me, currently, I am doing character profiles for Jungle Emp. There are more than a few pages in to 1965-10 issue. Copying and translating all that will take over a week; but I am not going to do all of it.

Thank you, Jeffbert Had never heard of this manga nor knew nothing about its existence!
While the synopsis for the manga states they started out as friends, they end up as rivals.
If you have not seen what is known as the "Samurai Trilogy" which starred Toshiro Mifune you should definitely check it out, as this tells the full story of Miyamoto and Sasaki and in a lyrical manner and in beautiful technicolor; although you you may find some of it old-fashioned.--Astrobuddy

Good, Jeffbert! Hope you enjoyed the movies. My favorite and I feel is the best is: "Samurai III: Duel at Ganryu Island"!

Above is the cover and the last page of the Mighty Atom manga in the November, 1966 issue of the "Mighty Atom Club" magazine. Any one who may have the issue and/or can help identify the Mighty Atom manga in it will be very appreciated.

Below is a link providing information on the issues which were previously thought to have no Mighty Atom manga stories and now thanks to members from this forum, it is now known that the aforementioned issues have stories adapted from anime episodes.--Astrobuddy
