Speaking of music, I tried translating the long version of Uran's 80s theme today. Since I've never seen the full translation online, just the "TV size" version. And I thought it would be fun practice.

You're impressive! I hope you succeeded. I think there might have been subtitles for it in the North American release, but I don't clearly remember. Let me know if you want me to check.

Yeah I finished both transliterating and translating the long version of the song. The 2 short versions are somewhat easy to come by, but I never found the long version translated, so I tried it myself. The long version is in the OST CD. Both small versions with their original footage are also in the Madman release I think, it's been a while since I watched the Extras DVD.

Here is the English translation (I assume not many need the romaji so I'll exclude that here):

It's not perfect, but better than nothing. I'd like to try translating more songs from the various series but can't decide on what to do next.

Hey guys. I just came online to see how the chat threads little baby was doing and found it dying poor baby. Probably because we all moved on to using google chat. Its probably better that way though, because if we share any youtube links or exc through it, it's our butts that get beaten ,by these laws like SOPA or ACTA or what ever it is, and not ABO's.

To Gotta Love ASTRO BOY: Not everything ever is illegal to link. It just requires a little bit of personal judgement of whether or not that it is. For example, it likely isn't a bad thing to link Brooke Fraser's official YouTube videos.

I'm doing well, been having lots of fun roleplaying with friends on Tegaki E. I also started using a website called Lang-8, I'm finding it very useful for learning. It's unfortunate about your notebook, my PC is having troubles too.
