Astro puts his bag on his shoulder thinking " how can this day get worse". He begins walking out of school leaving early after feeling pain, dizziness, and extremly exhausted. Dr. O shay came to pick him up. " Astro you need to go home and rest alright, I will check up on you later" then Astro replies " okay". Then Dr. O shay spoke " Astro this isn't like you to miss school and feel ill, what's bothering you". "Nothing, but the thing is I....it's hard for me being a super hero and all" Astro said. " Well if that's the case we will talk about it later we need to get you feeling better" Dr. O shay said.

Astro walked up to his room, put his bag on the floor and crawled into bed. Still feeling pain in his chest he wondered " why do I have to go through so much"? Then Astro fell asleep. A few hours pass, and Zoran comes running in scaring him out of his sleep. " Big brother, how are you feeling" Astro replies in a slightly angry tone " Zoran I was trying to sleep please go away I don't feel the best to talk right now. Seconds later Dr. O shay walks in, "ohh there you are Astro now how are you feeling" Astro replies and scrunches his face as he feels a jurk of pain flow through his body " not well at all". " Hmmm, I wonder if you have some sort of verius I should take you to the Ministry to take a look" Dr. O shay says. After having said that, Astro didn't want to be stuck in a lab for the rest of his day. Then the phone rings, Dr. O shay answers it " hello"- " hows Astro is he alright, but may I come over to see him" Dr O shay not quite sure who it is but then questions "who is this"? On the other end of the phone she replies " my names Natalie I know Astro from school and I know quite a bit about robotics surely I could fix him". Dr. O shay puts the phone on hold and asks Astro if it's alright if she stops by, Astro give him a little nod.

Half hour later the door bell rings. She was invited in to see Astro. The door creeks as she walks into Astro room with a worried look on her face. " Ohh, Astro you look terrible" Natalie says as she's about to cry. Astro replies " Natalie please don't get so worked up about it". " Why shouldn't I, I love you and I'm going to fix you". In a flash Astro was being fixed and Natalie knew exactly what she was doing and finally finnished. " There Astro you'll be better in a couple of hours. She leans over and gives Astro a kiss on the cheek. Astro thought it felt so good to be loved. Natalie goes to leave and says " don't go to school tomorrow you need rest your quite tired, love you. Astro studdereds " love you too". Once Natalie departs, Dr. O shay came in " wow! she did a fantastic job fixing you and she knew what was wrong too, now where did she learn so much about robotics"? Astro replies " Natalie is amazing she knows so much it's a hidden talent she likes to keep to herself". Dr. O shay was curious so he asked " Astro is that your.. " yes it's my girlfriend I guess"?

" I love Natalie because she's different from everyone else she's special to me". Then Dr. O shay said " I think you need love for happiness and strength and well since she has robotic talents I wonder if she would consider using them at the Ministry". Astro looking unsure and says " I can try asking but I think I'll regret it, she's only told me about her talent because she respects me as a robot". Finally Dr. O shay says " time to get some shut eye we want you to be even better tomorrow"

Chapter 2

As the sun began to rise, Natalie walks in quietly to check up on Astro. She wake him up nicely and says " how you feeling". Astro replies in a sleepy tone " pretty good , and I'm glad to see you here, your so comforting". Natalie smiles " your so sweet". Then question popped into his mind and he said "Natalie would you consider working at the Ministry, your talent could be in very good use" Then Natalie looks kinda angry she says " no, and why would you ask that question I thought I could trust" she stomps out of the room. Just before leaving she says " were done Astro".

Astro lyed in his bed quietly heart broken. " why on earth did I ask her, why did Dr. O shay have to ask me to ask her" Astro thought. " Natalie and I were like soul mates, we had so much in common and she really respected me and I went and broke her heart as well, what am I going to do"-" I miss her already"Astro sniff.

Astro got out of bed still feeling discomfort but he knew he had to go to school. Dr. O shay walks in "Astro what are you doing you know you need to stay home and get well rested". Astro doesn't reply and walks out of the room to get ready. Dr. O shay remembered hearing yelling a few minutes before Natalie left, " I wonder if something happened between them"? Dr. O shay questioned himself.

Today Astro walked to school even though he hadn't been feeling the greatest, since he was so focused on getting to school he didn't realize that he only had half of his energy tank full. When Astro hit the school yard his friends rushed over to him "Astro!! your back, and you don't look to well" said Alejo, then Kennedy said " yeah, Astro maybe you should've stayed home". Astro still had a glum look on his face and replies " I came because I have something important to do"

Astro stumbles into the school feeling slightly dizzy. He goes to get his stuff in his locker when he sees Natalie. " Hey, Natalie wait up" Astro yells, but Natalie ignored him. The bell rang and Astro didn't get enough time to get his stuff so he was late for class. As he walked in he felt embaressed everyone was looking at him as if something was wrong. The whole first block Astro could hardly keep focused, he felt jurks of pain and dizzy. His main priority was to talk to Natalie.

Once the bell rang to end the first period Astro sighed in relief. It was lunch so everyone headed to the cafeteria. Instead Astro knew Natalie wouldn't be there so he checked the lounge. There she was all alone. He walked up to her and said " Natalie I'm sorry but Dr. O shay asked me to.." then Astro was inturupted by the p.a system, asking all student conseil members to meet in the gym. Of course she was one of them so she had to leave and didn't even really want to listen to Astro ramble about what happened this morning.


Astro felt like giving this whole love thing up he knew it wasn't easy but he had an idea. So he went to the library a quiet place to think, he wrote a letter to Natalie. Just before the bell rang he put it in her locker and started walking to class when out of no where Astro was shot......

It was a perfect time that Natalie walked by and saw him get shot, Astro fell to the ground but Natalie caught him in her arms. She noticed that Skunk shot him from behind but he ran once he was seen. The school called Dr. O shay that Astro needs robotic attention immediatly. As Natalie was still holding him she began to cry why didn't I listen to you today, Astro opens his eyes " it's not your fault, I love you" then Astro scrunches face after feeling a jurk of pain. Astro felt dizzy, since he was still ill the pain was extreme with the shot effects.

Dr. O shay runs into the hallway to see Astro, he picks him up carfully and leaves. Natalie was still upset but didn't care if she was late for class. She walked in with tears still dripping from her eyes. Everyone stares at her as she walks in, the teacher looks at her and says " Natalie are you alright " she replies " I'm okay I'm just getting over something". She walks to her seat, still wishing that she didn't ignore Astro all day.

Before the bell rang to wrap up the day at school, she dropped by her locker to put some stuff away when she noticed a letter on the locker door. It said

"Dear Natalie,

I'm sorry if I hurt your feeling, but if you want we can go our seperate ways. All day I've been trying to tell you, I was asked by Dr. O shay if you want to work for the Ministry. That's fine if you want to keep talent to yourself. Dr. O shay just thought you did a fasinating job repairing me. Your beautiful, smart and the best someone could ever have.

Love, Astro"

It brought tears to Natalie's eyes. She knew she had to see Astro.



When the bell rang for home time, she sprinted out the door towards Astro's house. When she got there Zoran said " you can't go in right now Dr. O shay is finnishing up, then Natalie says in a sad tone " how is he ". Zoran studders " big brother's hurt" she started to cry. To comfort Zoran she gave her a hug. A couple minutes later Dr. O shay walks out of Astro's room and he sighs. Dr. O shay says " you may go in but he's not in the best condition. Natalie slowly walks in, she sees Astro lying there in discomfort and knew she had to apologize. " Astro, I'm so sorry I should've listen to you, I thought you said those things yourself about the Ministry" then Astro replies with difficulty to speak "I'm sorry to, I love you Natalie, I could never leave you we were meant to be together". Natalie starts to cry and Astro trys comforting her " Natalie it's okay it was just a misunderstanding. Natalie gives Astro a hug, " Astro your to special to me to leave you I love you too". Dr. O shay walks in " what's going on in here, are you two feeling sorry for one another" then Astro struggles to reply feeling another jurk of pain " yes doctor". Then Natalie finally admits " I will work for the Ministry, but I will also repair you Astro, but this must remain secret between the four of us". Then Dr. O shay asks " who's the fourth"? Natalie replies gigling " Zoran of course". Dr. O shay smiles " I'm glad to see you two are back together".

Dr. O shay leaves to tell Zoran. Natalie says " Astro are you still feeling pain"? He nods. Seconds later Natalie was dulling the pain down for Astro to feel comfortable. Astro says " Natalie your the best ". Then Natalie replie " I've gotta go now so I'm not late for supper see ya tomorrow. Before she left she gave Astro a kiss on the cheek. When she was gone Astro daydreamed about her and thought " oh, I love when she kisses me".
