Yer I still can't get remotely excited because of the art style. I think I'd be happier if it looked like the Pluto manga (looks only), but the way a show looks has a huge impact on me, that's why its also hard to watch Sailor Moon Crystal #burn

My dad rented it from Blockbuster for me when I was very young. Then I watched the new series on Cartoon Network in 2004.

You imitate the style of the 2003 adaptation perfectly. Toby needs more love, he is one of the most tragic characters. There seems to be some bits cut off I assume due to the scanner size, have you tried doing multiple scans then matching them together in photoshop? Not sure if thats possible or not...

Just wanna update I got this through other means *cough* and is not worth the $30.00 they asked for it.

This is damn depressing, I enjoyed the Japanese versions of the 1980s show AND Black Jack (BJ was removed like a year or 2 ago). Screw copyright, screw ittttttt :'(

Excellent job on the finished version! It looks like it could be used as a comic book cover. I wouldn't mind seeing you tackle Atom and Uran next too, or any other Astro Boy character for that matter.
