I'm looking forward to seeing this movie. I am disappointed by the majority of reviews so far. It doesn't give me a lot of hope that this version is anything more than another Hollywood raping of an anime classic.

It is very rare to be able to find that. I found a couple of anime DVD sites that claim to have the 2003 series in Japanese with English Subtitles. I am not sure if I want to purchase the sets or not. Am I able to post a link to the site?

In the 2003 USA dubbed set how many episodes actually aired on TV, and how many are exclusive to DVD? I've only watched the first 15 episodes dubbed.

The best thing about the Madman set from 5 years ago is the bonus disc. If you can find those special features online burn em to a disc yourself and buy the USA release. It's a hell of a lot cheaper. As for the sixties set that is a good deal. I have no idea why Madman is bothering to re-release the...

Anybody know where to find the fansubbed editions of Astro Boy 2003? It seems like only the English dubbed versions are available.

I kind of figured it is the better deal. It is way cheaper too! The only drawback I can see is the lack of the first two episodes. It would be nice if Madman would release the bonus disc separately and then my set would be complete.
