Re: COVID-19

Being 1 armed, I use suction cup brushes with stiff nylon bristles. I wash my face with DAWN dish soap, really cuts grease. My face thinks I am 15! Well, some parts, anyway. Others are much too dry. :P

Re: thinking of a solid-state drive for W10 upgrade

I have seen some scary things on C-net, people who upgraded to w10, and are very unhappy about it. So, as it is, my SSD is just sitting there, gathering dust. I tried to upgrade my laptop 1st, and it even came with w10 recovery discs & a boot disc. So, put in the boot disc, waited a while, then ...

Re: COVID-19

I have been cutting my own hair, since neurosurgery early in the 1990s, had left me with a bad haircut. About 3 inches above my right eyebrow, they drilled a small hole, into which they inserted a probe that was used to map out the area housing the involuntary movement of left arm & leg. So, rea...

Re: COVID-19

I have confined myself since 1st March, 2 weeks before the official lockdown. I have myself a medical condition that most certainly makes me highly vulnerable: a heart transplantation for which I have to take immuno-suppressing and corticoid pills, each one a big no-no against covid-2019 . I am not...

Re: COVID-19

On the subject of boredom, I am not bored. Currently I am doing the dialog for #3, Gaseous Beings, comparing the original dialog with the revised as found in the Kobunsha 8 volume hard cover version. I have already done so with Atom's parents, of which there is a very brief version in K vol. #1, and...

Re: COVID-19

Thanks for the info, Tetsuwan Penguin. Sorry to hear of your condition, Dr. Frag; though I knew of the CFS for some time, now. Stay well, my friend! So, I violated the distance thingy today, went to Walmart, parking lot was about as full as usual. No cart wipes, though there was a woman with paper t...

Lone Wolf & Cub, on TCM 4/5 & 4/12, late night

I watched the series on DVD several years ago; intense! http://www.tcm.com/this-month/article/1565991%7C0/TCM-Imports-for-April.html http://www.tcm.com/schedule/index.html?tz=PST&sdate=2020-04-05 http://www.tcm.com/schedule/index.html?tz=PST&sdate=2020-04-12 04-05 (actually 04/06 late night/...

Re: COVID-19

Good to hear from you, Tetsuwan Penguin. Sorry about your condition. A sad update on that 1st grocery store; I was there Monday, & there was nobody with spray bottles wiping down the cart handles. No sanitizing wipes in the dispensers, either. I expect to go out today, it should be about 60 F, a...

COVID-19

So, who is here? I am here, at 61 + years old, & in fairly good health. I go out and about without fear, i have seen plenty who wear masks, & such. Went to the gas station today, & employee had spray bottle and paper towel & wiped the gas pump & the touch screen. Very good servic...
