Don't worry, I know exactly what you mean. The problem is, vol. 2 & 4 of that series are SO good that much of everything else is a bit of a letdown. Although that isn't really true either (as you are saying), because even when Tezuka isn't at his best, he is still so often well above everyone else....

To tell you the truth, vol. 3 wasn't my idea of a great read either. I mean, anything Tezuka writes is good compared to anybody else, but some of his works can't be compared to the great stuff he's done. Ummmm, that didn't make much sense....

The show that picture came from was called Jetter Mars. It was very similar to Astro Boy, almost a copy. Hope that helps!
