Well, yeah, the idea of sentient AI probably predates Tezuka, but in Astro's universe, the applied technology is a whole 'nother shpiel. :) Edit:I'm a huge dork for AI, for you young uns, my av is of Max Headroom, the intelligent computer virus. I dunno, man, he was awful calculating to be just frustrated. In the second epp he encourages Astro to play that ball-game-tournament-thingy by threatening to murder everyone in the stadium, and then pulling the strings that led up to that Blue Knight's robo uprising....and then shoving the poor kid...

I love Skunk, I think he's Tezuka's creepiest villian, he's got such a serial murderer vibe going on with him, yet he's goofy at the same time. Granted, the other bad guys are goofy, but they're over-the-top goofy. Dirty ol' Mister Skunk is keep-the-door-locked goofy. Edit:those kids in top picture ...

I hope they do it justice. That guy who replaced Colin Brady is a fan, which can be a good thing or a very bad thing, as anyone who's spent an hour on a fan fic site already knows.... :guh:
