I just now recognized the tune to astro_2 as being the tune of "There you go Astroboy, on your flight into space...", from the 60s B&W anime. I had already done so for the fight music, but even that took a while.

It says in this Darkhorse translation that the images were reversed: "The artworkof this volume has been produced as a mirror-image of the original Japanese edition to conform to English-language standards." I take this to mean that the left-hand side of the frame was originally the right-hand side....

I do not see any video, but the song is ok, music is 1st class, as far as clarity goes. I am not qualified to comment on the score, though.

Astro By the way jeffbert, why do you refer to Astro as Atomu? I know this is a more accurate translation of the Japanese, but he is always called Astro/Astroboy/Astro Boy in the English translations (except for the recent Dark Horse manga of course). Were you introduced to him as Atomu, or are you ...
