It's a shame Livian didnt make an appearance in the pretty, shiny 2003 version of Astro Boy.

So I recently made a new design for her if she appeared in the 2003 series
That show appears more spacey and futuristic so I tried to adapt to that.



I tried to keep similarities from the 1980's reference but also make this version more original too
I imagine her as a very shiny robot, reflecting all the beautiful lights of metro city in the night

Unlike in the 1980's version where she was pretty much a bystander, minus the helping astro on occasions, in 2003 i think she should have some unique abilities of her own and kick ass lol

Livian is a newer version of Maria from the original Blue Knight story. BTW, your art is very good, Meeshell, and it is both appropriate and welcome here. However, please do not exceed 1000 pixels in width in any future art you post, as not all of us have large monitors. Your current image of 1,000 x 1,010 pixels is just fine, though. If you do have an image wider than that, please just post a smaller version and a hyperlink to the full-sized work.

It looks like a great concept art. Nice work.

It is a pity that Livian wasn't included, I guess had they decided to make Atlas appear in more than a two episode arc then she may have been included.

I like how you have included some elements of the 80's design, but have given her a more modern appearance. It is a very believable concept, thanks for sharing
