This guy makes me think of a satanic Popeye, though he reminds me of Bluto too.

He makes me think of Popeye's arch-enemy (for the few I have read on Popeye). His name in French is Thimothée, not sure about his name in English.
Edit: This guy:

The real sign that someone has become a fanatic is that he completely loses his sense of humor about some important facet of his life. When humor goes, it means he's lost his perspective.

It's Bluto, but the satanic Popeye comparison did get a good laugh from me. The drawing I did was based from a combination of his first appearance in one of the E.C. Segar strips, and a later comeback he made during a time when Bobby London did some of the comics. The most prominent influence being the ponytail and generally longer hair he had in London's drawings.
There's also a little bit of Max Fleischer style Bluto influence too (the type Fafner linked above).
Thanks man. I've been experimenting with some brushes and I've expanded my color range in Photoshop since the last post, and those have both certainly left an impact. I've also felt that I've grown a bit more of a comfort to digital art in general.

Just finished this today. It's a brief little sketch more than anything else. I'm not spoiler tagging this one because of its moderate size.
Here's a link to a bigger version.
This sketch actually has a bit of a backstory behind it:

For years Ive questioned the meaning behind the artwork to Black Sabbaths album Paranoid. In context with the record, it makes no sense. We joked for a while about the man depicted having a creative dispute during the photo shoot, I want to be a spaceman! I want to be a knight! I want to be both! Can I be both?

Hate to ask this, but which one would you technically be referring to? Looking up the name I found two artists that share the same name, one did some Marvel related stuff and the other goes by the username GoldCucco.[/QUOTE]
Oh, I did not notice that you had replied till I decided to look back through this thread.
The Marvel one.
