Saruta, to answer your question, 13 human years. and due to Earth's gravity and volocity being so much slower than on her home plannet, Suru will never TRUELY age. (thus the reason why Astro isn't affraid of being with her. ( humans age and Die, whlie Robots and wolve's from Suru's plannet can live forever on earth.))

Returning here from the Kathy thread with stuff that is not Kathy related.

Would you give a link, or a Facebook name, or anything that would let me see your comic? (And also - what would be the "rating" there? with this character age, if it gets too explicit I'm not allowed to view it by Ireland's laws).

And just wonder, what does your friend Brianna think of 2003 ep36? :)

But wait, he did visit. He was at San Diego Comic Convention in 1980, presenting Space Firebird (aka Hi No Tori 2772). At least this article says so: http://www.2772.otaku.ru/texts/e_1980.htm

The first episodes of Astro'80 have Tenma and Tobio (not yet named Atom/Astro) on a boat to America. Wonder if this and the master's own 1980 US visit were linked somehow.

And he just might respond by a hearty laugh. They have confirmed that he is now one of the classical authors. Like Shakespeare, or like Disney himself.

Tezuka's own manga is full of quotes by classics. I just read Phoenix "Early Works" (aka Egypt/Greece/Rome) and the heroine is "Daia", a princess captured and enslaved by Egyptians who can also sing extremely well. That is, Aida from Verdi's opera with some letters moved.

Tezuka Productions also continues the trend. Astro'03 episode 36 uses the plot from "Cyrano de Bergerac" by Edmond Rostand.

So, art-wise they're all right, sauce for the goose etc. They might not be all right copyright-wise, but that is a matter for Tezuka Productions lawyers.
