Saw this epic fail of a costume on Ebay and this came to mind

For those who don't like him wearing clothes in the movie, it could be worse. He could be wearing THIS! XD

I got a tshirt with a holographic thing of astroboy on it. Turn it one way and you see astro, turn it the other way and you see his electronics.

Kinda like this shirt except astro in flying pose. Purchased in Hong Kong from a small stall.

Yeah I had put "Emitters" at first and I changed it because he's not just emitting. He's sensing as well!
The photon emitters are like the LED halo around the headlights of a Camaro.Emitting a beam that the receptors in the center are detecting.

What is it with the recent trend of Astro Images and him being all Silhouetted? It makes him look more like an antagonist, if anything...
And i wonder if anybody gets the reference, btw.


I was completely dumbfounded by these things. Of all things to put him on, you put astro on SNEAKERS? If it were me, i'd have stuck him on a pair of red Converse, but, hey. I'm sure all the "cool kids" will be pinning to get themselves some o' these.
And i'm fully aware it's not Product Placement, by the by. It's more the fact that the mental image of Astro acctually putting a pair of these things and saying the above quote within any incarnation of the show is incredibly amusing to me.


Oh, that Astro Boy; always looking for attention one way or another!
