Fanart: Tezuka Moderno style; a question!

Hi there! (:

I'm trying to create a little Tezuka Moderno style figure of Bem or Beamo, the little robot bomb boy with wings on his head! The only problem is... I didn't bring the comic he's in with me when I came home for holiday break, so I'm without proper references.

Here is a quick little sketch:

(sorry about the quality! I don't have a scanner at home. haha!)

I was wondering if anyone had any reference pictures or fanart of Bem? Or links to websites that might. Heck! I'll take any suggestions, too! things I should add/change. When I finish the little guy, I will be sure to post pictures. (:

There are no eyes yet (I'll paint them on when I bake the finished piece!) but this is his head. haha!


Just a little different angle. My little Astro keychain is in the back! It's what inspired me to make one of Bem. (:

The head is about half an inch tall. It's pretty small and hard to work with, but fun, nonetheless!

P.S. THIS CAMERA IS TERRIBLE.

I finished the body and the little fridge bomb, and I cooked it. (: but when I cooked it the head ended up tilting back a little. :// It's about an inch tall!
Nowww I just have to paint it once I go back to college. I didn't bring my paints. haha!
