It's about time I contributed to the fandom with my brand of shenanigans, don't you think? I've been drawing a fair amount recently, so I thought I'd compile everything into a thread. Some of this has been on deviantART for awhile now, but I'm putting it all here for everyone else.


Inspired by Robot Polymer and Tetsuwan Penguin's fic, 119.



Based on a conversation I read on this forum somewhere about Astro's boots being go-go boots.



Autocomplete tried changing a typo for "Astro Boy Clip" into "Astro Boy Lipstick" and so I did what any sensible person would do and drew it out.



You can thank tumblr user maggiedroid and our own Little Brown Fox for encouraging me to draw these in the midst of some "serious fandom discussion."



My latest one. I had a mighty need to draw a cute wintery Cobalt so I did the thing. I really like how it came out.



And finally, this is how I imagine my inevitable exile from the fandom for excessive silliness playing out.

Is that a ribbon in your hair, or a pair of mini Cobalt cowlicks?

Also I've heard of lifting yourself up by your own bootstraps, but here you've done Pecos Bill one better!

It's not an Uran/Atlas fusion (even though he does resemble a few incarnations of her both prior and succeeding this particular series). Mini-Princess Atlas is the best Princess.

I believe that last one was conceived after accidentally instigating a conversation about "stripper Astro" and is in fact a reference to the film adaptation of Dr. Seuss's "The Lorax".

Aaah gosh darn it I didn't know anybody responded to this thread, I'm sorry.

But yes, LBF said it all better than I could (Though personally I would for us all to forget the Astro Stripper incident and never speak of it again :d oh .

Also, to answer your question, Tetsuwan Penguin, they are indeed cowlicks. Though I'd been drawing myself with them long before I knew Cobalt was even a thing.

Anyhoo, thank you guys for actually responding to this thing, and while I'm here, have a doodle of Atlas being an angry Pikachu.

We've decided to call him Daichu.

And coming soon: Something with Uran Because I Don't Draw Her as Much as I Should Even Though She's Like My Second Favorite Character in this Series~
