Several years ago, I made avatars for another forum I'm still on. Within the past couple days, I've gotten some inspiration to do the same for this forum.

I just finished making some avatars that you'll see in this post. The art on them comes from the cover art on the "Sun Comics" Japanese Astro Boy manga releases. I'm planning on making some alternates either tomorrow or the day after for these avatars with the original text from the cover arts on them.

I've got a couple more ideas for avatars to share with you guys as well. Those should come within the week.

Apologies if these are a little small; I had to sacrifice some width on these images in order to fit them within our 100x100 pixel rule for avatar size.

Anyway, here you go. You guys are free to use these avatars if you wish:

These are great! Well done! I like how each colour seems to represent Astro's pose. The two red ones are my favorite, especially the one of him sitting in the chair.

You should do the rest of those little images from the Moet Moso thing; they're all cute. I hadn't known about the Jetter Mars one, though, lol. I know of what I think was some sort of trading card, with Atom roughly as he appeared in the infamous "Return of Atom" arc, and I think it belongs to the same collection, or perhaps some extension of it. Idk, though. Screencapped it off of the site I found it on, as it wouldn't let me save the picture... so I'm not sure it's okay to post it. But it's the only one I've seen like it. :T

You should do the rest of those little images from the Moet Moso thing; they're all cute.

Unfortunately, I can't do all of the images since some of them are grainy and/or tiny, but I was able to do a few more avatars from that set. I'll include the red Atom picture from my last post since it comes from Osamu Moet Moso as well.

I just found what you're referencing. I don't see that much issue with it, so I'll post it over in the Osamu Moet Moso thread.

I was talking about the full set of the kinda samey-looking ones. It's too bad that the Triton one and the weird, construction-robot one don't have larger images. I bet someone could find them somewhere if they tried, but...

The thing about that card picture I found was that I think it was in a Japanese search for the story arc. Or for Atom in general...

It might have even been when I ran the Japanese for Jetter Mars through an image search... (I found some other cool things in that search, too. Merch for that arc apparently exists! Granted, it's just some character figurines...)
