Here's the cast for this season:



Yup, you're seeing that right. Things are a little different this season. Since we've had a formula going for the last three seasons for cast members, I thought I'd switch things up a bit. This time, along with 11 real-life members of this forum, I've also added in five characters from the Astro Boy universe! How well will they do? Well, you'll just have to find out!

For those that are unfamiliar with ABO Survivor, it is not a forum game, hence why this is not in the Games & Role Play sub-forum. Specifically, it's more of a meta fanfiction where alternate universe versions of ABO members step foot into the popular Survivor game show and compete for the goal of becoming Sole Survivor and also gaining a (fictional) large monetary prize! I put everyone into a Survivor simulator and it decides the course of events that happen for the season! There's 12 episodes that occur followed by a 3-part finale that decides who the Sole Survivor is!

Are you one of the 11 members in here and don't want to be part of it? Just let me know and I'll remove you. Do you want to be added to this game? Just ask, and most likely, I should be able to add you; the only stipulation for being added is that one of the 11 members has to drop out of this season first in order for another member to be added by request.

Prologue

"Already that time again..."

A few jets are shown heading towards a small group of islands in the Pacific Ocean. Sixteen people, whether human or robot, occupy those jets, awaiting a long journey of strategy, wit, friendships, betrayals, and, if they're lucky, a cash prize of one million dollars, along with becoming the fourth ABO Sole Survivor.

"...but things are a little different this time. I wonder how the usual ABO members will handle the starting twist this time..."

The host is shown in his own jet, prepared for another season of hosting ABO Survivor. Last season, he shed his identity as the Enigmatic Host from the first two ABO Survivor seasons and revealed his identity as "Dr. Adam Versinius", or "Adam" for short.

The jets land at one of the island's airports. The contestants then board helicopters, which head off to the area where their journey will begin.

A short overview of the Marquesas Islands is shown, where ABO Survivor IV will take place. Scenic shots are shown along with the people of the island, while a monologue of facts about the Marquesas are stated.

"Alright everyone, find your tribes!"

We rejoin the contestants, who will be called "castaways" from here on out. Adam has already greeted the castaways, some of them for the first time and some for as many as the fourth time.

Some castaways are seen fangirling or fanboying.

"As you've already noticed, things are a little different this time around. We couldn't get many members from ABO this time around, so we've added four castaways from an alternate universe you're already familiar with."

Noh Uno is seen trying to cause trouble while Atom and Cobalt try to stop him. However...

"...as you may have noticed, we've ensured that our robot castaways and magician castaway play fairly with the rest of you. For this contest, we've taken away any of their superpowers that normal humans would not have. As for you, Dr. Tenma, we've ensured that none of your robot creations will 'help' you out."

Tenma snaps his fingers, but understands that this contest must be held fairly.

"Alright, looks like you've found your tribes. Get to know each other, or get reacquainted, because this journey, as you all know, will take some time...well...as long as you don't get voted out. Best of luck to you all!"

The sixteen castaways are now split into two tribes: the Mars Tribe and Miri Tribe, named for two of the main characters from the Jetter Mars series.

They get one day to set up their camps. Tomorrow, ABO Survivor IV begins.

Who will become the fourth ABO Sole Survivor?

Episode 1

As with every ABO Survivor season, sixteen castaways begin the game. Only one can become the fourth ABO Sole Survivor. One castaway gets voted out each episode.

Who will be voted out first and have their journey come to an abrupt end?

Both the Mars and Miri Tribes split into alliances. Alliances will help castaways stay in the game by establishing trust between other tribe members. Sometimes, that trust is genuine, while other times, it's only a farce to get further in the game.

Two alliances form in both tribes. The strength of each alliance is somewhat strong, but the loyalty to each tribe varies from person to person.

Since this is the first episode, no reward challenge occurs today. Only an immunity challenge will occur.

Whichever tribe wins the immunity challenge is guaranteed not to go to tribal council, where one tribe member will be voted out of the game.

Adam informs the castaways that the first immunity challenge will be off to a "fiery start".

And so the click for spoilerMiri Tribe heads to Tribal Council. With one alliance very weak, distrust begins to form among certain tribe members.

This season, voting occurs swiftly, as each tribe members gets to vote at the same time, each going to a private room to write a name on a small piece of paper, which will be put in a tube, dropped down a chute, and sorted out by robots into a pot which the host Adam will obtain. He'll pull those pieces of paper out one by one, reading out the names written on them.

"The person with the most votes will be out of the game," Adam informs our castaways. "I'll read the votes."

Shiyonasan, who has been in every single season of ABO Survivor thus far, is the first to leave in his fourth appearance.

With one tribe member already out, the difficulty of staying in the game automatically rises. It's easy to lay low in the beginning with more contestants, but later on, there's no use hiding.

Our castaways are told to go to the first reward challenge. Reward challenges offer rewards to the winning tribe that will give them supplies for camp and personal care, as well as food to eat. This season, reward challenges don't happen as often as in past seasons, but they still show up often enough.

This challenge requires agility and quick-thinking.

Atom is the second to leave the game in a shocking result. He may have been seen as a threat to the other tribe members in terms of staying in the game, or perhaps he may have just been too nice for a game like Survivor.

Regardless, Atom leaves the game and wishes the rest of his tribe good luck, though he hopes Noh Uno doesn't cause any trouble.

Earthshine, one of only three castaways to have competed in all four seasons of ABO Survivor, leaves the game in 12th place, her lowest placement.

CommanderEVE, who took second in ABO Survivor III, is the sixth castaway to be voted out of ABO Survivor IV. It appears her lone wolf tactic didn't pay off in the end.
