Press the Print Scrn key, open an image editor, create a new document, paste, crop, & save. You will probably need to use a new image the same size as your screen resolution. If you have 800 by 600, use that, etc.

If you can maximize the player first, that will help.

Great it seems to be working but where the movie is actually playing all I get is a purple box in the captured image This is printscreen-ing from media player into PhotoMagic (it came with the scanner). Same thing in LView. Should I pause the movie to take the screenshot or should I leave it playing? Neither way seemed to make a difference..

I'm still trying different things though..

Perfect! That's the one! Nice and clear too..

I got the printscreen capture thing working on my computer and started to make up my own. I even attempted to "stack" the picture as the scene is something like 4 screens tall, looks half decent if I do say so myself. The bottom screen was the hardest to capture because I had to "take the picture" right at the moment the pan-down stopped and the zoom-in started. You can see the lines where I cut'n'pasted plus it's a little dark. Yours is nicer.
