The Man Who Sold The World - David Bowie
This is a great album right here. I think a good chunk of us recognize the title song, either the original or the later cover by Nirvana.
The tone of some of the songs in this album are surprisingly in a similar tone to Black Sabbath's beginnings, I may sound crazy to some but just listen to "The Supermen" or "Saviour Machine". It's like a more melodic and varied version of Black Sabbath with someone who could actually sing. Don't get me wrong, I love the first two Black Sabbath albums, I'm just not much of an Ozzy fan. The instrumentals in that album are great in my opinion.
Surprisingly enough, most of my peers despise this guy's music. Guess they haven't listened to Low before. Either that, or they only heard modern Bowie and never gave his older stuff a chance. Their loss.
