A; Oh, uh...Well, I, uh...

O'Shay silently shakes his head towards the little boy, causing him to sigh in disappointment

A; I guess...I'm sorry for bringing it up...

Tenma just smiles at him

T; Don't worry about it.

This makes Astro smile again

Tenma: Nonetheless... You are really amazing. I think of everything you overcame, and you're great.

O'Shay frowned, thinking of all those "obstacles" Tenma had voluntarily sent on Astro's path.

Astro remained silent.

Tenma: I guess I shouldn't have said that? You're not very happy about it, huh?

A; Well...I still can't really understand some of your actions...

T; Such as?

A; Why were you always testing me?

T; Simple...Because unlike some other people, I wanted to see you grow to your full potential.

O'Shay could only stare angrily at Tenma, knowing full well who those words were directed at

A; But why? So I could become...King?

Tenma: Yes, that was supposed to be your destiny.

Astro: I don't understand why that came only after Dr. O'Shay revived me. It wasn't what you had in mind when you created me?

Tenma: I was only thinking in the short term, I wanted to revive Tobio...

T; But then...well, you know the rest.

Astro's gaze turned towards his red boots, unsure of how to approach his next question

A; Doctor Tenma...What if I hadn't scared you when I was in Lab 7?...What would you have done then?

This surprises Tenma

T; You're intersted in knowing that?

A; Well...yeah...Would you have made a different choice?

[Astro Forever]

Tenma: Hmmm... Well, if you had accepted the situation, nothing would have happened.

Astro: And what if I had simply said I didn't agree?

Tenma: I would have explained you the situation, and make you understand, hopefully...

Astro: And if I still had not agreed?

Tenma: Well, we could have come back at a different time to see how your thinking had developed... But eventually we would have needed to find out. You couldn't be in between. I had not envisioned something like this, and you didn't disappoint me.

[Prettywitchiusaka]

A; But I did disappoint you...

T; What?

A; When I rejected you...Is that the other reason you shut me down?...

Tenma can only sit there surprised by that question. O'Shay however, walks over to the uncomfortable looking Astro

O; Astro...

A; It's okay Doctor...I want to know

Astro gives him a small smile as O'Shay merely sighs

O; Alright...

Tenma: I meant that you had not disappointed me in choosing a side. But, of course, you know now that this wasn't the side I had been hoping for. I must admit that I still have some regrets; but, it's not use, right? We're too far from that now... so much has happened since.

Astro: But I disappointed you one more time, since...?

Tenma: Yes, I must admit that...

O'Shay: How strong are your regrets at this time, about that "one more time"?

Tenma took a look around the room they were in.

T; Only that I was...acting selfish again...

A; Again?

Tenma: Yes, all right... I'll admit I've been selfish. I wanted the whole world to be what I had envisioned. And I do have regrets, that it didn't work, yes...

Astro: Do you think you can imagine another world now?
