Metal Box/Second Edition - Public Image Ltd.
I discovered this one through Killing Joke's Turn To Red after hearing about its similarity with the track Swan Lake (also known as Death Disco). And let me tell you, Swan Lake is a great track. The whole album has a consistent quality to it, from Albatross to Socialist and Chant (Radio 4 is basically an extra at the very end). It's all great in this one, hard to pick a favorite song from it.
While I don't have one of the original metal boxes myself, I feel that the Second Edition reprint from later on works just fine.

Gojira's new album Magma!
I love this band to death, but this is not their best album. It has not got the heaviness that I like in their other albums, but the lyrics are very powerful. The band wanted to make an album that represented them and their emotions, a good example of this is when the song writer's mother died while writing half way through one song. He wrote, "she will make it" before she died, couldn't come up with the next line so left it for another day, then his mother died and he came back to write, "she did not make it" for the next line.
