By request, I am making another thread about one of the dubbed episodes:


I captured these in 2006, so it has been a long time since I watched this episode. Thus, I am unsure about the crisis here.




























Atom wanders into a construction zone, & all too close to an explosive, just about to detonate!





Now begins our little Hero's journey to Tezuka's version of the LAND OF OZ:





Atom announces his return to Ochanomizu-HAKASEN, but is stumped when O says he has never met him before.


























This is a mirror-image of one of several panicked crowd fleeing sequences, used in several episodes.

Where's Tezuka?

Even with the limited animation, that single frame subliminal shot of Tezuka must have been hard to spot. The flying beret was the giveaway for me.

Hmmm . . . Tobio/Astor only has TWO eyelashes, whilst Atom/Astro has five!!

And his hairline is angled sharply around his face . . . yup: the bot is cuter than the boy! XD

Here are two shots of Tobio from the first episode. Hard to see his hairline with the cap on, but you can count the eyelashes. That car looks like the comic strip Batmobile!

This is a sequence of people fleeing in terror that has been used frequently, sometimes people are soldiers. Check #19, Atom Vs. Garon!
