    how can they change Uran to.....to.... Zoran :( .Uran was a great name for her!! It was a name that was as unique as she was....Zoran sounds like a boy robot name ..... At least Uran sounded feminine(well as feminine goes in robots) I mean Livian was a beautiful name for a beautiful robot but Uran was a fun name for a fun mischeivious robot. Zoran almost sounds EVIL!! :o ;) :P :D NAH~!!! URAN IS MUCH BETTER

Have to agree with Lou on this one. Zoran? -__- Sounds like a boy's name.

oohRan should have stayed the same.

O'Shay, sounds shitty, but I'll manage with that one.

When I first saw that name, I could not figure out whom it might be. I was surprised, amused, and disappointed to learn it was the kid sister. In the English Dubs, she was

Astrogirl 60s

Uran 80s Literally Uranium, because bablefish translates her Japanese name as this.

Zoran? I cannot understand why the change was made to her name. Zoran should work well synchronizing with lips that are saying Uranu, but why change it? Zoran reminds me of the Zeriods, which were boys' toys back in the late 60s and early 70s.

Their names were Zogg, Zerak, Zobor, & Zintar. <_<

Maybe they thought Uran sounded too muche like Urine. Zoran is sort of a guys name in eastern europe >_< . Hopefully it will grow on me.

I do not know why it took me so long to get it; perhaps it is because Zorro only writes the Z, while you had the whole name written.

Zoran, no fox as cunning as she,
Zoran, who makes the sign of the Z

Well I stand by my previous post that a pretty girl need a pretty name and Zoran JUST AIN'T IT!!!!!
I grew up with the 80's series & the name of Uran was I think just right for her. It was pretty but a strong name for a strong willed robot(which she definatly is) I think that Zoran just isnt right for this little 'bot

As much as I prefer subs to dubs, I suppose I will want the dubs anyway, if for no better reason, than because whenever I see the name Zoran I chuckle. It is just so ugly as to be funny. Besides that, If I am to create my own Astroboy pages, I will need all the data I can get.
