You mean this picture? Perhaps the electronic parts under each hair points has articulation. In either case, I don't mind the hair as not a solid piece.

It's impressive, but I'm a bit disappointed.
They're going for a Disney/Dreamworks look, which I'd rather not go with. They're trying to make him appealing to the new generation of younger children, which is fine, but it won't appeal to many old Astro Boy fans.

I guess I just wish it had a sign of being 'deeper'.

I dunno, be kinda hard NOT to go for a Disney look for a series created by a guy who was inspired by Disney. I read an interview where Tezuka himself admitted to getting much of Astro's design from Mickey Mouse and it may actually be deeper than what we're seeing. This was like, what? A minute? If even that

I think's got potential the digging part is obviously a homage to the original credits.I think Nicolas Cage will be good as Boyton.It would be different role for him.I hope it's better than the last series.It looked good but it was missing a soul.I actually liked the American Astro Boy comics from the 1980's.I saw General Stelle's name on the profile website.It would be cool if they went the route those books did.

Yes, I was thinking about this one. The other one was when Dr. Tenma put Astro's "skin": no points seen on the metalic head. In any way, this isn't of much importance, not as much as whether Astro breathes or not
