I could have worded that better, but too bad.
Nope, there weren't any added scenes except for the special feature. Secretly I was hoping it might have the preview for old Astro Prototype fighting Zog, since Astro was in his classic costume there and I thought over in Japan they'd be okay showing that. But it wasn't there

I hope Imagi release someday, even on the internet.
But what you said makes sense, although frankly I think they were being lazy not translating the whole thing over to Japanese. If you want to impressive that country then you make it to their language all the way through. They should've even changed lip sync to Japanese (like they do in Kingdom Hearts) but that likely would've cost too much.

When I watch dvds over American I use a dvd called CodeJunkies. It's actually a cheat disc for the ps2, but it had the extra function to watch films from anywhere. There's also Magicdvdripper with a free trial online, if you were that desperate to watch it. But duuuuude, you gotta get it! It's so cool!
I'm thinking of uploading a 30 second preview or something, like the insanely short Astro Boy movie previews that are on youtube (that were of meeting the RRF, Orrin, Hamegg etc). I don't know if that's allowed though. Then again, it'd only be 30 seconds. I think it's uploading the whole movie or lengthy clips that would be a problem o_O Showing the Japanese might actually help Imagi reel in more customers.
But, I'm still a little dubious though on doing it. I know I do amvs or stuff, but when it's just the clip on it's own I'm a bit worried. o_______o;
