I have all of them. :) I'll have to think about it for a bit before I can come up with something appropriate for theme sound effects.

Ryo-ohki is one of the most amusing characters in the Tenchi anime series. Part of the fun was in the gradual revelations of her characteristics. That said, I will go no farther than to say that she is of the species cabbit, that combines the form and food preferences of the rabbit with the meow of the cat. Image

Here are some links, but if you plan to watch Tenchi, I reccomend avoiding these pages, for as I said, part of the fun is finding out!

Tenchi Muyo page, which gives other links to characters, plot, etc.

Here ir Ryo-ohki's page.

Series Order

Tenchi Muyo (4 discs)
Tenchi in Tokyo (8 discs)
Tenchi Universe (8 discs) This is actually a retelling of the whole story with a different plot.

Sorry, I keep getting sidetracked and ill. :( But I have written down appropriate Astroboy samples for about half of the windows theme sound effects. It'll happen someday.

Yeah, I uploaded it to Anapan's FTP site. I don't remember seeing it there though, so I don't know what happened to it.

Anapan: do you want me to upload it again?

I'll have to give that one a look. The next anime I'd like to see at the moment is Excel Saga. I saw a promo clip for it and it was one of the funnies things I've seen.

I bought the first disk in the Excel Saga, and while I did find it funny, it did not meet my expectations. I had read a bunch of user reviews, and was expecting to be tickled silly. I suppose, that were it not for my expectations, I would have kept it, and bought other titles in the series. I do intend to get them eventually, though.

BTW, I just finished viewing Martian Successor Nadesco, which I really enjoyed. This anime contains its own anime, that the crewmembers like to watch, and the whole thing is reallyfunny. Six disks, I bought a 2nd. hand copy for about $50 fro Amazon marketplace. :D In fact, the anime within this anime has itself been made into an anime. I do not know if it is available in English, but it basically parodies the Evangellion type things.

Excel Saga is one of the funniest animes I ever saw (and I have over 500 cds full of anime) it gets pregressively funnier as you watch it. Alot of the stuff that happens in it is spoofing other animes - some of which are mostly unheard of outside of Japan, and if you haven't seen them you wouldn't get alot of it.

I have seen quite a few now, having been with Netflix for over a year. However, it has been about 4-5 months since I saw Excel Saga. I will give it another try after I have seen a few more months of anime.

Speaking of Excel Saga, there is a fluffy white cat, that the main character calls a dog (subtitles). Is this intended?

Dr Frag: Whoops, didn't see your post. Yeah, you should upload it again. I don't have it.

Jeffbert: Actually, Menchi is a dog, she just looks kinda like a cat.
