but what can i do, there isnt any cable service provider here in my place??
I myself well know how that feels, and as much as I did not like the encroachment of suburbs upon my quite rural setting, cable tv and broadband internet came with it.
Nevertheless, I still much prefer the Japanese audio and English subtiles that cable does not offer, except in Kurosawa films. Anime is exclusevly dubbed. I do make exceptions, though. My first exposure to anime was Cowboy Bebop, and the English voice actors especially Jet Black's (John or Beau Billingslea), were very good. As I write this, I have my tv window open and History Channel's
Dangerous Missions: Snipers is playing. I know it is narrated by either john or Beau. But my dislike of English dubs had to do with the female voice actors. Anyway, so Faye and 'Edward' do have cute English voices, but they are among the few who do. The Japanese women just have higher-pitched voices, they nearly squeak. Compare Atom's 60s dubbed voice with his 80s voice. Uran's is even more great a difference. Both siblings became younger in the 80s, but their voices became older. Here is this tiny girl whose voice is big.

Just compare the Japanese with the English audio in the 80s series. Hence, I prefer anime on DVD to anime on cable tv. I believe anapan has some Japanese audio episodes on his server.
