Aside from Metropolis, I don't think I have any other Tezuka stuff.
I'd love to get ahold of some of Tezuka's other series', but I don't have the time or interest right now to seek anything else out.
(Actually I could capture and encode episodes of Kimba the White Lion, but the Canadian dub that's shown here is so craptacular I find it unwatchable...)

About the problems with my FTP, you'll have to provide some more info for me to guess what might be going wrong, it's probably a problem on your end since a couple people have been downloading most of the day without problems. Maybe try connecting using a different FTP client.

Thanks for the links, that's a cool site you found. I haven't decided if I'll be hosting Metropolis or other Tezuka stuff on my FTP yet.

ah sorry to impose, but could I request eps 29 and 30 please? It's 'The Greatest Robot in the World' and was by far my favourite part in the entire series... I remember crying as a kid over that episode

Just finished encoding Uran's Twin.
I've decided to use the Japanese episode list numbers and names, as found on TV Tome, because it's easier for me and it also makes more sense given the source.

The quality isn't quite what I wanted, but it's still decent (for only 30 mins of re-encoding from VCD). I'll fix the video a bit more next time.

I'll encode The Greatest Robot in the World tomorrow sometime with a few more filters.
I forgot to ask before I encoded the last one; Any preferences on the video quality/filesize?

BTW, what did Uran sing in the english dub?

I don't know why, but somehow just clicking on the link didn't work. But now that I have an FTP client, I can experience the joys of downloading the masses of Astro files you have. Hooray! Thanks Anapan! :wahah:

The reason just clicking on it doesn't work is because despite the underlined text on my first post looking like it only has FTP:// on the URL link, it actually added HTTP:// before that due to a buggy URL parser in the MSG board system. You would need to either edit the first part out of the URL bar after cliking the link or copy&paste the underlined text into to a new window for the link to work.
