We've seen Astro recharge; what about Uran??

Hmm, I myself can recall only the scene in the B&W ROBOT SCHOOL where both bend over for breakfast.

In one story from the old manga Uran is recharged from the rear, like her brothers. In this story after Uran and Cobalt do a great mess searching to have a shower Astro tells them they must recharge. Their mom says to both Cobalt and Uran: bend over and put your bum in front of me. Then she inserts there a pump. Cobalt asks: "Why do humans recharge/refuel themselves eating from the mouth and we must do it eating from the butt?" Mom: "Cause the foods are totally different" Cobalt : "Humans are strange!". Actually you see only Cobalt refueled but it is hinted that Uran was refueled/recharged in the same way. Then in this story Uran becomes a wrestler robot, there is a Futurama episode that is amazingly similar so I've always asked myself if the animators took inspiration from Astroboy. For what concerns the 2003 version as one of you had just said she probably wastes much less energy than Astro.

Maybe Uran doesn't need to refuel as often because she runs on URANIUM

It is said in another discussion that Astro's body produces uranium compounds, so probably they can all run on uranium or something very similar.

Nobody mentioned the 1980 series, but in "The Snow Leopard", Uran and Astro's parents clearly have to recharge. I believe her mother also says something about her energy cassette in "Uran's Twin", before she leaves for the art class.

Maybe she runs on Uranium, which by the way is used in nuclear weapons and reactors, and I think rockets.

Mars eats his energy in the form of capsules; he also inserts them into his belt buckle/belly button.

although if you think about it robots aren't as advanced as one would need to think. Robots need energy from a specific source ie electricity, humans when they eat, the body stores the extra carbohydrates into antipose cells that they stores, robots do not have this system apparently.
