just out of curiosity I typed astro into my cable box search and found astroboy on a french cartoon channel.
also fount the movie on a movie central channel, I don't get that channel though.
I am going to look at the one on the french channel, I wonder what series it is???, or maby there is a English sap stream or something.
ok ok it's on now, it is the 1980s Canadian dub.

Oh cool, I've missed an episode last year! I didn't know it was still on! Thanks, diehard! I recorded all those I was missing last year! Only half of the series was officially released on DVD here. You can even tell which ones were not released, they are those for which the introduction is replayed at the end...
If you happen to watch the show at 12:30 AM eastern time, and you keep listening to the two following shows, you should be able to recognize Astro's voice in them. In fact, in "Le petit castor", the main character is voiced by Flora Balzano (Astro) and his father by Yves Massicotte, who happened to voice Professeur Caudrine (Dr. Elefun/Peabody). I did watch those two shows (Astro and then Le petit castor) back to back last year once, and I was wondering why I had never noticed when I was a child. It's soooooo obvious now!
