Who is THE voice of Astro to you?

Astro has had quite a few voices over the years but who is your favorite? The one you hear whenever you think Astro?
Mine would have to be either the original 60s voice, and the 80s voice. (english that is) Although recently, I find myself liking this one;

OMG - that is great! And yeah he sounds cute (but not whiney).

I think of him with the 60's voice (Billie Lou Watt) or the 2009 movie voice (Freddie Hightower).

That looks like the other colorization video that was taken down awhile ago. Looks like the "super human beings" episode from the ELV. But what a hatchet job on the sound, with gobs of print-through!

I always preferred Billie's voice to all others, but Candi Milo's voice for him in the 2003 anime was also great. The 80's anime English voice was very cute, but it had a certain whine to it that sort of got irritating after a while.

I always liked his voice in 2003 (in Japanese though). I like them all of course. I have only seen the 80's version in Japanese so I don't know how different his voice is in English.

Actually even though I don't understand it, his voice in the '60s Japanese version suits his character very well.

I think his voice in the original Japanese 1963 and 1980 versions (voiced by Mari Shimizu) is sooooooooooooooooooooo kawaii X3

Mari Shimizu is definitely the voice of Atom to me. Very iconic and suitable for his character.

Makoto Tsumura is great as Atom as well in the 2003 anime, but I think Shimizu is slightly better.

Makoto Tsumura for me; hands down. She has a voice that very sweet and soft to listen to, but can still sound serious and heroic when she needs to be. In other words, it's just how Astro should sound (in my mind anyway).

Mari Shimizu did Atom in both the '63 and '80 series under Tezuka. I just checked on Google, I hadn't realized she did both of the first two series.

BTW, it seems that every time I find a "Bio" or an "Obit" on a Japanese web site, they always give the person's blood type. That's a little TMI IMHO, and I have no idea why they do that!
