Got one because my friends wanted me to play farmville, so I did. Then I saw the light that farmville is terrible. I have not logged on to facebook for 6 months.

Sometimes it is good to taste things to see how terrible they are. In this regard, you are more enlightened than I am concerning Facebook

I'm avoiding Facebook, for the same reasons others have mentioned. It is annoying however that it is becoming so popular because once in a while I'd like to be able to access something that is being discussed in an article or discussion, but I haven't given in so far. I'd register under a false name if I am going to get an account. I know we are not supposed to post false information but since they haven't been honest with their users, I don't see why I should trust them. I'd only use it to read and not post anything anyway.
