Note that Skunk is or rather was a recurring character in this series.

Here is a link to an archived Tezuka World THREE-EYED ONE page :

"Fauna" wrote:
Skunk had a great death scene in the THREE-EYED ONE anime. It was on youtube a while ago, I think it was the 38th episode & part c. Maybe I should not have mentioned Youtube, with our policy of not promoting bootleg videos.

BTW, happy 1000th post, Fauna!

Thank you! :) I think it's safe to link to the Three-Eyed One videos at this time, though...they're not licensed by any distributor, and even in Japan I think the DVD is out of print (if there ever was one).

I don't remember him being that bad in that series; he adopted Melmo mostly because she had extra senses, but then he got dragged by eggplant monsters into a pool of acid/lava while trying to steal a pot.
Skunk didn't appear in the Three Eyed One manga, but I have the volume with this story in it. I like him as this character better. :D His death was brutal though.

Skunk is the definition of creepy. If you were walking down a dark street and he just sort of... popped out of the shadows, you'd run in the opposite direction, don't even lie :D

That's why I love him as a character so much. He can set the mood even before doing anything. We love you Skunk! Your fanclub already has 4 members!!! :w00t: Lol, and that's all you're gonna get

That death scene has always disturbed me to great extents, I think it was great writing on the staff's part. I just keep thinking about how much that has to hurt. :(

My reaction to the ending of the arc with him in it went something like "Hey, cool, he's got a pimpin' cowboy hat and a psychic daughter and now he's going into that cave OHHH MY GOD WHAT ARE THEY DOING NOOOOOOOO"

I asked some of the watchers on my account to join the club, too, but no one's jumped in quite yet. It's great seeing anybody at all join, though.

I bought that Ambassador Magma tape just to see that scene! L.A. Hero's dubs are absolutely crazy to listen to. Skunk had a a Travelling Wilbury's-era Bob Dylan voice, and Sapphire was a tsundere.

I've got it on Youtube, although I can't really link to it here because Skunk swears and I filmed the TV with a camera so it's terrible-looking.
