Hello! Nice to meet you. I'm Kuo-Yi from Taiwan. I draw doujinshis and original mangas.

Hey...are you the Rock fangirl that Fauna has been talking about? :)

So far I haven't watched all the 1963 or 2003 episodes of Tetsuwan Atom yet, mostly the original 1980 series (being Asian, I do not really watch English dubs all that much since the original's easier to get where I live. Good thing too), but I've read most of the manga and loved it. Other of Tezuka's works I've read (manga) so far are Triton of the Sea, Princess Knight, Don Dracula, Black Jack, Midnight and Kimba the White Lion / Jungle Emperor Leo. I even read a few pages of MW but the series is MUCH too erotic for my liking. :eek:

The good thing about this forum is that most people are respectful. Yeah. I think you'll like this site and I hope you stay at least semi-active, since as you can see most members log in once and then say bye-bye to the forum forever. :)

I joined this forum in late 2013 when I was 15 going on 16. Ignore my oldest posts, they embarrass me so much that I've considered permanantly leaving the forum more than once. I've grown out of my fangirling phase over Black Jack, Atom and Uran ages ago but the memories still embarrass me at times... :unsure: Though, I try to be more open-minded about it and accept it as an "interesting stage of my life". :tezuka:

I'm Earthshine and I LOVE Metropolis, it's my favorite animated movie of all time.

oh that's really cool!!! and I PROBABLY AM that rock fangirl she talks about hahaha, oh gosh. she's been trying to recruit me for a while, gave in last night or so ahha.

ah, yeah! granted, i've only read stuff with him as a villain or anti-hero but i'm slowly working on expanding my reach to some other stuff!

Rock showed up as "Rokuro Makube" a.k.a. Black Jack's childhood friend in the BJ manga. ;)

But then he grew up and became a gangster and then got locked up in jail. Poor guy.

@ Daiya: Olivia and I met on FanFiction.net and I sort of invited her to the forum, and I'm glad she did! :)

@ Olivia: I didn't know you were a Rock fangirl. How many fictional characters do you like anyway besides Atom and Daichi?
