My Spanish class is kinda scary but I've had worst. The teacher is cool but spanish isn't! Well, I should know spanish sence I'm hispanic but I don't. I was about to pick Japanese but I probably would of failed the class. I guess I will just study Japanese at home. Spanish, anyone here know it?

I learned Spanish many years ago, there is some left as I can still understand web pages written in Spanish without serious difficulties.
The real sign that someone has become a fanatic is that he completely loses his sense of humor about some important facet of his life. When humor goes, it means he's lost his perspective.

I learned a bit of Spanish years ago. I was never able to hold any interesting conversation and forgot most of it, but what I can remember is enough to allow me to understand web pages too. Of course, it helps that French is my first language and that both are Romance languages, and thus have many similarities despite not being mutually intelligible. I even managed to chat in Spanish at times, but with the help of a dictionary. It wasn't great Spanish, but I could still agree the verbs a bit and the other person could understand what I was saying anyway.
I also took one basic class of German and forgot most of the vocabulary I had learned (worst than Spanish because there were less similarities with what I knew, and I didn't study it for as long). At least I still remember the overall structure of the language, so with a good dictionary and a lot of patience, I can usually figure out the meaning of a text, although even Babelfish is more efficient than I am at times.
Last year, I ordered a DVD from Amazon.de, and it even made it to my home!
(To be fair, it did help that all Amazon websites are built the same way, but it was still a challenge and I don't think I would have tried this if I had never taken any German before.)

Thats very good of you to learn all different languages, Im impressed.

It snowed here today!... I was lobbing all the snow balls at all my friends, but the year 7's are stupid, they where throwing snow balls bigger then my head at peoples face's I got cut by a stone. But apart from that it was great. One of my teachers was plying around like a big kid because he had never seen snow before, I was really happy to see him running about like that. But, hay, it doesnt matter what age you are you can still have a inner child.
