What s the reason you choose your Avatar?

I picked my Astro/Cora avatar because I found a HD picture of the two hugging and I couldn't resist doing something with it. Though I feel a bit ashamed because it's girly like my sig ^_^; But really couldn't help myself. What can i say, I'm a real fangirl lol.

I chose my icon of Lisa Hayes/Misa Hayase, from Robotech/Macross. Lisa is my favorite female anime character of all time, and one of the most realistic and sympathetic anime women. And I chose this picture of her since it seems like the prettiest one of her, ever.

But I was thinking of getting a new icon in the future, and it would most likely be this one:

I'm beginning to get into Bob Dylan's music, and I think he was pretty adorable way back when. Plus, I just like the irony of this picture.

I fount this cool animated gif of astro cheering in the sky and tried to use it for the avitar, but I just got 1 frame, not sure how to get animated gifs to work as avitars?

Me and my daughter loved the books, and then watched the movie. I was surprised cause I thought I wasn't gonna like it cause it doesn't follow the book at all.
