Doors Icon Ray Manzarek Passed Away

Just found out that last night, The Doors' keyboardist Ray Manzarek lost his fight with cancer and joined the Lizard King in Rock n' Roll Heaven.

His playing is what got me to start liking keyboards in rock music.

Without Ray, we never would have had The Doors. He convinced Jim Morrison to start the band and they rocketed to stardom with the hit Light My Fire, for which Ray came up with the iconic intro.

RIP Ray!

:cry: I rarely know anything about the musicians themselves, but they will be missed.

I had to search the web a little to replace him, but he certainly had a lot of influence. RIP!
