I did (at kindergarten to yr 2), however I didn't really hate it. Its not that bad...

Its not exactly cursive, however I have a habit of joining my letters together when I write. Many people in my class do, as we have to do speed writing.

both my younger brother and i hate it becuase the book for me was more right handed cursive so it hurt everytime i wrote

You took the words right out of my mouth, or head, or whatever. Every single thing is the same for me.

You can tell that my writing is print, but my letters are somewhat connected. When I write my signature, it's in cursive.

To be honest, writing English itself is more right-handed, since the hand moves backwards.

Also, there was this very strange thing that happened in class, one of my classmates (a right-handed person) broke his hand on the weekend, so he had to write with his left. And guess what? It was really neat! Wow...

It's kinda funny because my cousin's handwriting is so neat, that we consider him to have a feminine side. If you were to take the neatest handwriting in all of the schoo from boys and girls, his hand writing would no doubt be the best. He is another one of those lefty hybrid people and he writes with his left.
