179 THE BLUE KNIGHT pt 1
179 THE BLUE KNIGHT pt 1
I hope the bottom line is ok.
Anyone who can read these, please post translations.
Though Tamao usually sides with Atom, here he has foolishly chosen to side with Shibugaki.
Usually, the sensei goes to visit the troubled child's home, but--
I am not even going to try to represent the story here, as the manga makes it very clear.
Another OUT OF SCREEN incident.
"Go to sleep!"
"But Ghost in the Shell is still on!"
When I was a kid, TVs in kids' bedrooms were rare.
Now, after Aoikishi (the BK) has been in the news for a few days, the humans are beginning to fear all robots.
Skipping ahead, the BK has fought Atom, who was violently shocked when he touched the sword; Count Burg has claimed that the sword should be used as a shibboleth to determine which robots could harm humans, on the wild idea that any robot that can touch it safely could also be a Blue Knight type robot, and harm humans.
Now the Gestapo comes to Atom's house:

Thank you to Jeffbert and Strange Wings for providing this post and then for translating it!
I like the comment about "Ghost in the Shell"!
While I have seen this episode I think the shots you chose were great! Especially the group shots of the Astro Boy siblings.
(Okay so Atom is Astro Boy; Uran is Astro Girl; Cobalt is Jetto. So what should we call Ti-tan(ium)?

The baby is called 'Chiitan', which really is just the japanese pronunciation of 'titan', so it comes pretty close.

I am surprised that someone who apparently can read Japanese, failed to note that I was using the English translations for the Atom family. Yes when one translates the baby's name the character for Chi is used, but we both know that the Japanese "chi" in English is "Ti" and that is why I used that in the name above.
But you have given me an idea. Since the episodes which feature "Tiitan" where not dubbed into English, so he was not given an English name like his siblings, one might say that "Astro Baby" is as good a name as any! Unless of course some one can come up with a better one.
