apparently these clips are from rare animated shorts of Astroboy which is a lot darker then the 2003 animated series, and was made into a special anime movie.

It looks a lot like the 2003 series but a bit more darker.

The music in the first trailer is pretty epic, I like it. Most of the scenes look like they're from "The Secret of Atom's Birth," which I've seen and it was relatively easy to follow, even without subtitles. I wish it was easier to find information about it, though, as I'd like to know if the voice cast was the same as the 2003 series.

There's also another short film that involves Astro and a number of other Tezuka characters like Black Jack and Sapphire, and apparently the characters were trying to solve a mystery? And at one point Tezuka himself showed up and had disguised himself as Tenma for some reason. I really wish I could remember the title of that short so I could find more information on it.
