I had to add an additional minute to my DVR's schedule for AH because Sleepy Hollow does not offer a new episode today, & as it follows AH, & I record both, I usually rely on its default 61 (extra at the end) minute for this purpose.
There have been sad occasions when, the recording that was exactly 60 minutes long did not exactly start when the network started the program. In other words, the clocks were just a few seconds out of sync.

It appears that Dorian's AI is based on analog electronics rather than digital (as are all current computers) because his low energy level resulted in strange behavior. If it had been digital, the low energy level would have either shut down his brain, or merely resulted in weakened physical strength.
Of course, this assumes that those futuristic electrical storage units (batteries) discharge the same way current ones do; that is, the voltage drops from its nominal value as the cells discharge. So, at a 50% charge the voltage may have dropped slightly, but the design of a digital computer would allow it to operate normally until it drops below a certain threshold, at which point, it just stops completely.
O.K., I know this is an over-analysis, such that a geek would make!
My UPS makes my PC work fine, until it is down to about 4% at which point it screams that failure is imminent, but it still works.

New episode tonight! From the previews it looks like this one will be the one with the 'killer robot' concept. Not sure though. I shall find out in 15 minutes
~Edit~
So apparently the previews have been very confusing for this part of the series as they have decided to lump all the previews together to make one giant series sneak-peak for the coming episodes. This was no different for this episode, so while the fans for this series were all geared up for the 'killer robot' scenario to reveal itself on this episode it alas was not the case.
Also it appears that we won't get a new episode for three weeks...? Not sure about that as the previews have been very misleading lately.

I seem to remember the concept of guided bullets from something else as well, though I can't remember from where. I remember watching the the episode and feeling incredibly familiar with the whole plot...
Also I found out that this week's episode was actually originally in alignment for episode 2, and thus much of the episodes we have seen thus far have been 'out of sync'.
But I actually prefer this episode right where it is, what with John being all defensive of Dorian and all. It wouldn't make sense for him to be so aggressively protective if this was the second episode.

Oh! I forgot about that entirely.
It seems they made light of the guy's shooting the robot in the face; for a guy known for a short temper I think they would have put him on suspension. Discharging a firearm without being under attack is very serious, far more than they made it out to be. Moreover, the Capt. might have reconsidered the destruction of the robot in e1!
