All I know is that the local cable TV info page for those episodes indicated a sequence that was out of sequence.

While I wait for the original blogger to get back with me on the episode order controversy I want to say how much I love the writing of this show.

I loved this sequence in the last episode so much. Reminds me of a lot of the messages that Tezuka warned against.

I also noted the warnings of future evils; yet, what can we do to avoid the repercussions of technology? Like it or not, whenever somebody invents something, some other person will be looking for a way to use it to advance his plans. And the worst of those somebodies may be the govt. :d evil:

Amazon wants to deliver packages by drones, the govt. wants to deliver other 'things' by the same method. So, there we are, expecting something from Amazon; oh, the drone is here, it requires a signature, open the door, & the drone

blasts you in the face

or

enters your home, & proceeds to film your home's insides

or,

whatever.

-------------------

Then again, forget the drones, as so many other things could happen.

We're all doomed!

Yeah the drone thing has me on edge a little, but we won't get into that (politics and such).

I don't know if we're doomed quite yet but we're definitely on a slippery slope. Things are getting better but there is just so much more to do, there's so much more we can do but those that make the rules (the people that hold the gold) won't allow that to happen. I really like to believe that humans in general are good, that we can fight against our own destructive paths because the average human is not in charge of how this world works and its social dynamics.

But you are right! So many things could happen. Good things can turn into bad things so quick it's disgusting.

AAAANYWAAY!!!

I got the real episode order :D

The episodes in the parentheses is what they were originally supposed to be, so episode 2 was supposed to be episode 5.

1.01 Pilot (#1.01)
1.02 “Skin”- (#1.05)
1.03 “Are You Receiving” – (#1.06)
1.04 “The Bends” – (#1.07)
1.05 “Blood Brothers” – (#1.08)
1.06 “Arrhythmia” – (#1.03)
1.07 “Simon Says” – (#1.10)
1.08 “You Are Here” – (#1.02)
1.09 “Unbound” – (#1.09)
1.10 “Perception” – (#1.04)
1.11 “Disrupt” – (#1.11)
1.12 “Beholder” – (#1.12)

According to one of the producers the episode order being out of order should not have had sort of negative impact on the show and character development for the first seven or eight episodes...

So long as one episode does not refer to incidents in another that has been rescheduled to run later.

There haven't been many instances of this episode rearrangement causing problems I believe... only in slight character development (such as Kennex shooting that MX in the face over Dorian in what was supposed to be episode 2). There have been a couple other instances where it would have made better sense to have it in the original order slot but nothing too big. Last week's episode was supposed to be episode four and in that episode we learned a lot about the world and how one part of it is perceived; the chromes.

I THINK THE SHOW FEATURED robot Vs. robot fighting in this week's episode, but it was not quite clear if that was indeed what was happening. One of the characters said something about hating to see robots used that way, but the incident was not the focus of the scene.

Yes, it looked like a pit fight with two robots. Probably reminiscent of cock-fighting or dog-fighting
