It's been a while since anyone made any comments about this story.
I guess this last chapter was too much of a shocker?

Also except for the first chapter, and maybe a little bit of the last one, nothing was really close to needed the M rating, but I wouldn't want to find out the hard way, exactly where FF.NET draws the line.

Oh please, darling, that was hardly shocking. A little bit unpleasant, but not as horrific as you seem to think. Then again, this could just be me...

Yeah, I may not like what happened, but he gets the short end of the stick all the time, be it in other people's fanfictions, canonically in his multiple incarnations, or of course, in my own writing (although I seem to enjoy bullying Cobalt a lot worse, eheh).

I do have a quick question, Tetsuwan Penguin.

How was Batman feeling at the end of your latest chapter, when Astro was getting beaten and when he had to put him in a body bag? Was he shocked? Or not? Even though they are teaming up to stop the Joker, Batman might not have really felt anything while putting the ripped apart Astro in a body bag.. Or DID he feel shocked, terrible, grief, etc?

Just curios.

I hope to update it by the weekend. I've tried two different settings and didn't like how they felt. I need some time to sit down and start the next chapter over again from scratch. This will be the third rewrite, though some dialog might be reusable.

BTW if you reread chapter two you might find a clue as to what I have in mind.
