I wanted to train myself to use copic markers for a long time now but this and that always came up to block my creative urges. I myself use prismacolor pencils primarily. One of these days I'll buy some copics and use them (I bought similar alcohol-based markers called La Plume, but the pen-tips unraveled and fell apart! I am glad they were only about 30 cents a marker instead of $1.25!)

Thats awesome! I have a much harder time with colored pencil, thats why i use copics or i shade with pencil and I usually buy the expensive things because cheap isnt the way to go typically XD but at least the markers weren`t expensive

I thought I would give the La Plume markers a try because they seemed to be fine. I bought them at a convention and got to use them in a demo and play with them, they behaved the exact same way as copics and in fact chemically WERE the same. But the only difference was the pen tips They would have been great if only the pen tips were not manufactured so cheaply.

Sometimes you can go "cheap" and sometimes not. I just didn't luck out this time.

I always loved pencils so that's my main medium and I swear by prismacolor. They take a little time and effort to get used to but the effects you can achieve with them can be astounding, especially when mixing mediums (such as water color and pencils).

Nice (well a few notes sounded off, but better than the way I tickle the ivory!) Did you compose that or do you have the sheet music?

If I had the score written down I could translate it to midi and build an electronic music box!

Yes! I get them at my local micheals craft store.
