It's possible he wasn't in the anime at all. The headless robot that appeared in an episode of the 1980 Atomu series was also in the Jetter Mars opening, but never appeared in any of the stories. It's possible that that was planned, but the show was cancelled after only 27 episodes.

Ah I see... That's a shame. Would've been nice to see Rock in Jetter Mars.

On that note does anyone recognize this character from the Jetter Mars opening?

yeeah, its funny that they have an episode about galon, yet not damudamu/Goliath and he's in the damn opening
