It's the first time Photar/Epsilon reminds me of Superman...
I thought he was just carrying the rock until I saw your similie. What happened?
It's fascinating to compare the 1963 and 1980 series.

I do not think so; unless he was shrouded by smoke or clouds, he would he unlimited energy from the sun.
