Wow, I'd never heard of this before but it looks great! :D I can see what you mean by 'busy' but I guess I'm used to it since most manga are like that these days and I've only gotten into the classics recently.

I own all three volumes in my Tezuka collection though I've seldom tried to read them much for the reasons that have been mentioned before. If I ever persevere with them I suppose I'd enjoy them in the end. I thought my Sailor Moon comics were a little hard to read at first and they are much the same in style, as one of you said most modern manga are presented as.

It's just that we are not used to such comic presentation in our Western civilization naturally. But nevertheless I'm very happy to have this trilogy. :D

I just received my copies today; I already finished vol 1, & from what I recall, it was essentailly based upon the 2003 anime, but the stories were both simplified and also a bit mixed with one another. By that, I mean that some of the stories seemed to merge into other stories. I will clarify later, but for now, I am starting vol 2. :p I will say that endings are about the same as in the 2003 anime, but sufficiently different to make them interesting.

Keep us posted, I'm very interested, especially on how the story has changed.
