Astro Boy Reboot (Future animated series)
Re: Astro Boy Reboot (2018 Series)
I wish they would give us some new little tease just to encourage fans that this is still coming. An image or video, anything.

Nice find! At least we know that they're still working on the series at this point.

They posted a web version of that article:

To illustrate his point, van Waveren uses the upcoming Astroboy Reboot, from French studios Caribara Animation and Shibuya Productions, with CAKE handling distribution.
“We’re fleshing out his character and his world to make him more relatable, but still keeping him aspirational as well. We’re giving him a family and having him figure out not only what it is to be human, but how it is to have siblings and function within a family unit.”

No confirmed date as of now. There should be more news coming about it soon though.

Re: Astro Boy Reboot (Future Animated Series)
A couple of updates about Astro Boy Reboot...
Shibuya Productions has said not to expect ABR in 2018, but there should be an announcement from their main broadcasting partner in the coming weeks. Shibuya Productions' convention, the Monaco Anime Game International Conferences, takes place on Feburary 24, 2018, so it may be that new information could come from that event (though it's not a guarantee).

In addition, Caribara Animation recently updated the info on their Astro Boy Reboot page to indicate that the show is now 52x11', meaning that the show will now have 52 episodes which will each be 11 minutes. It was previously listed as being 26x26', which would've been 26 episodes each with a 26 minute length.

Thanks for the update, Shiyonasan!
Re: Astro Boy Reboot (Future Animated Series)
Sorry for the bump, but I was way more intersted in this than the "Go Astroy Boy Go!" show that seems to be getting all of the attention now.
Is this show cancelled?

It is still in development, but has just been very quiet on the newsfront lately. I'm wondering if it's stuck in development hell now, but that's just speculation on my part. The Shibuya Productions president, Cedric Biscay, recently did an interview on RadioMonaco and advertised it with this image:
They've changed Atom's shirt color to red as you can see.
