Stumbled across this one by accident. It's based on the movie from the
moment Tenma carries Astro from the lab. If you squint your eyes you can
see wittle zzz's coming from Astro XD

I think this is set after the 03 anime where Astro is visiting Tenma in jail.
judging by the bandage on Tenma's wrist...well, either an accident or self inflicted.

I find this one rather amusing/cute. Reminds me of the 1980 episode
where Astro breaks everything in the room on the board the ship with Tenma XD





Looks like Tenma and Tobio are cooking, and O'Shay is concerned
about the sharp pointy knife above Tobio's head XD;







I got to be honest, I got no idea what's going on in this one.
I think it's the 03 anime again where Tenma taking Astro to lab 7 like he did with Tobio. Or it could be Tenma taking Astro to be sold at the
circus. That scribble of a building doesn't help at all x_x



I wasn't sure if I liked this one or not since it's so scribbly. But I decided to add it
because it showed Astro's desperation to stop his father from leaving him.
I think again this is the 03 anine, possibly the manga as it has a similar
scene in volume 3. Although Astro didn't tackle glomp Tenma over lol XD





This isn't really a manga, but the way it was drawn reflect that type of style.
Not a clue what's going on though. Times like these I wish I knew Japanese

I just downloaded a lot of the images posted here -- they are simply amazing. If anything, I think Astro is growing more and more adorable and human. I guess the people who drew most of these are just naturally gifted.

I heard there are programs to assist in creating your own manga/anime. But most of these look like people who really know what they are doing have taken the time to create very compelling scenes. Tenma's complex soul comes out too. That sketchy segment where Astro leaps to protect his father is just heartbreaking.

I guess he touches the "wounded little kid" in all of us. And the images of Uran are wonderful too -- but it's that parent/child rejection/protection angst that is at Astro's heart that we all want resolved. I'm really grateful that you've made the effort to find this wonderful work and share it with us. Thanks!!

I did, and it was a great concept -- I found it to be a very believable situation for someone like Tenma -- and also Amelia -- waiting for more!!
